3 the term

3. Rated lifting weight: the maximum weight allowed to be borne when the twig is suspended vertically under general use conditions.

3.2. Ultimate working load: Under normal service conditions, the single arm sling is allowed to withstand the maximum item mass when suspended vertically.

3. Spreader: load-bearing flexible parts (including upper and lower accessories) when loading, unloading or moving items.

3. Angle between limbs: When the sling lifts the object, the Angle between the two limbs. (See Table 18).

3.5. Plumb line Angle: refers to the Angle between the limb and the plumb line when the object is lifted from the spreader (see Table 18).

3.6. Hanging mode coefficient: the ratio of the maximum working load of single limb slings, which is exactly the same in terms of safe working load and performance, is composed of hanging modes (sub-limbs of multi-limb slings, angles of limbs, and different single limb slings hanging modes) in general operating conditions.

3. Safe working load: the maximum allowable weight of the sling according to the specific hanging mode under general use conditions.

3. Test load (verification force): Under normal service conditions, verify the non-destructive vertical downward load applied when the sling or rigging is suspended vertically.

3. Minimum breaking force: the minimum breaking force that the chain and wire rope can bear in the static breaking test.

3. Total elongation: percentage of the measured length, which is the ratio of the total elongation when the chain is broken to the original chain length and the end fittings.

3. Nominal length of spreader: distance between upper and lower load points of the unused spreader in no-load condition (see FIG. 4)a).

3.12 C-hook: The end is C-hook with balance weight (see Figure 1).

3. Gripper spreader: a device for extracting items by means of mechanism closure or friction between the mechanism and the item.

3. End fittings: It is the general name of the main ring, middle main ring, connecting ring, middle ring and lower end fittings of the sling (see Figure 4). a)

3. Main ring: the end fitting directly connected to the hook (see Figure 4)a).

3. Intermediate main ring: a chain ring used to connect two or more distributor slings to the main ring (see Figure 4).

3. Connecting ring: the connecting ring at the end of the chain, connecting the chain to the end fittings, either directly or through the middle ring (see Figure 4). a)

3. Middle ring: connecting end connector and connecting ring on the chain connector (see Figure 4)a).

3. Lower end: The chain link, eye hook or other device is installed on the limb of the sling (the limb is away from the main ring or upper end)(see Figure 4).

3. Sling eye: the cable sleeve at the end of the sling.

3. Hard eye: the eye of a rope with a collar.

3. Soft eye: the eye on the string without a collar.

3.23 Penetration: Each rope unit shall enter and exit the clearance of penetration rope unit once according to the prescribed method.

3. Stitch: When one end of the ribbon is attached to itself or layers of ribbon, a stitch passes through the ribbon and forms a stitch.

3. Non-load-bearing joint: a joint that connects several layers of straps together without compromising the strength of the sling.

3. Joints: joints with soft cable eyes at the end and lap joints of ring sling formed after fixation, which directly bear the load and affect the strength of sling.

3. Sling ring: A sling ring formed by connecting the two ends of a chain or rope (including fiber straps) together (see Figure 3).

3.28 Inner length of chain ring: chain pitch P(Figure 4)a).

Four general

4.1 The design, manufacture and use of spreader and rigging shall meet the following safety requirements:

A. Load-bearing structure should be simple, clear, direct transmission of force, reduce the impact of stress concentration;

B. The influence of dynamic load, wear, corrosion, temperature and working environment on safety performance should be considered during design.

C. Bearing members should have sufficient strength, stiffness and stability;

D. There should be no defects on the surface and inside of the bearing body that damage its usability. The bearing body should have good fatigue resistance and impact energy, which can meet the needs of practical work.

E. Articles bound with slings and rigging and the method of connecting them with lifting machinery shall be safe and reliable; When necessary, there should be protective devices or measures to ensure the safe operation of the spreader;

F. The exposed moving parts on the spreader that may cause damage shall be equipped with protective covers. If the pavers are used in the open, they should be constructed to avoid water accumulation. The electrical equipment on the spreader should generally be waterproof; Otherwise, waterproof measures should be taken.

G. The structural design should also consider the convenience of manufacturing, transportation, installation, inspection and maintenance;

H. The manufacturing method must be suitable for the materials used and conform to the design and process requirements;

I. The fiber direction of the forgings should conform to the working shape distribution.

J. The rolling direction and working fiber direction should be consistent with the stress direction.

K. When the forgings or calendering parts cannot meet the performance requirements or are difficult to manufacture, the bearing parts are allowed to be cast, and the bearing parts should be steel castings rather than cast iron.

l Manufacturing materials and purchased parts must have manufacturer's qualification certificate and other technical documents; Otherwise, it can only be used after qualified inspection and verification.

M. The manufacturer shall mark the spreader and rigging which have passed the inspection and are not easy to wear, and issue the certificate of conformity. The marking content shall at least include: rated lifting weight (limit working load), inspection mark, production number, date of delivery and production unit; The qualification certificate shall include the main technical performance parameters;

N. With the use of certified special derrick and rigging, the user shall have safe operation and maintenance procedures or corresponding rules and regulations.

4.2 Load Testing

Masts and rigging made, refitted, repaired or newly purchased may not be used until they have passed the no-load operation test and the prescribed trial run. In the process of use, according to this specification for inspection, maintenance and scrap.

4.2. The derrick of newly installed container, grab crane, universal bridge crane, A7, A8 gantry crane and other special cranes shall carry out load test with the derrick at the same time according to the design requirements of the derrick.
